if I was a bird
I'd build my nest
in the tree closest to your heart
I'd hover above your aura
and soar thru the clouds of your love
and even though I'd know
to you I was just a bird
I'd fly straight thru danger
determined to either protect you
or redirect its path
I'd fly circles endlessly through time
powered by energy derived
from my passion for you
my focus would be eternal, strict and uninterrupted
just like our love
