RULES OF THE GAME

there are rules to any and everything that can be played
in life, if you win it goes on for another day
so here they are, my own personal set, all 10
the rules to this game (ladies, these are for men)
number one is easy, mind on ya money
finances are serious, everything else is funny
number two, life's a bytch, so go at her right
don't be the one confused at the end of the night
number three, all you got in life is yaself
don't accept no crutches, you don't need no help
number four, anything and everything is possible
think o' situations that lesser men have gotten through
five, if you have a child, be a father
think of the little one as a blessing, not a bother
six, be a leader, let other niggas follow
otherwise you won't know where you'll end up tomorrow
seven, respect is earned by being given
if you think the world owes you anything, you trippin'
number eight, keep ya feelings deep down inside
whoever said a man should be sensitive... they lied
nine, don't act hard, be hard
actors get exposed when the truth shines upon
ten, mean what you say and say what you mean
in this world, a man's word is everything
bonus point, don't make excuses... ever
a man stands tall forever and hides never
follow these rules to the letter
