DE'WAYNE SIMPSON... FULL-TIME ACCESS

When I Grow Up
by: De'Wayne Simpson

When I grow up

I wanna be the president of the United States

Not the head of some organized crime family

I wanna be the owner of a pro sports team

Not some uneducated athlete, hopin’ not to get ripped off

I wanna own prime pieces of real estate

Not dope houses and crack corners

I wanna be a mechanic; I hear they make good money

If so, I wanna own my own garage

Not runnin’ some chop shop in the back of an alley

I wouldn’t mind workin’ my pennies to dollars in investments

Not card games, dice rolls and sports gambling

I wanna be associated wit’ other successful black folks

Not a bunch o’ dumbass niggas
