DE'WAYNE SIMPSON... FULL-TIME ACCESS

DISCLAIMER:  THIS PART OF MY SITE IS NOT INTENDED FOR STUDENTS AND IS THEREFORE NOT EDITED FOR CONTENT.

When I was in high school, my teacher showed me the connection between lyrics and poetry.  At the time, I called myself a lyricist.  I even did some ghost-writing for other small-time rappers from DC and Baltimore.  As I got older, I used what I learned from my high school teacher to venture more into developing myself as a poet. (Thanks Mrs. Purcell)  People often told me after reading my poetry that I seemed to have a split personality.

Click on the titles below to read some of my random poetry I decided to put on display.
