DE'WAYNE SIMPSON... FULL-TIME ACCESS

OBJECTIVE

I am seeking new opportunities that align with my personal background, as well as possibilities that may involve a salary increase.

INTRODUCTION

I am a writer by passion.  I have published poetry and other short pieces in various print and online publications.  At one point, I managed a web site, WritersNotes, for authors and poets.  I helped with site maintenance, managed all interactions with writers, and was the liaison for the company.  I was also a freelance sports journalist and had countless articles published on Black Athlete Sports Network.  Since then, I have published three novels: Heavy Is The Crown, What Tomorrow May Bring, and Urban Lullabies, Volume 1: Prince Hawkins.  In addition to all of this, I have several personal ventures not mentioned below.  These include almost ten years of being a private tutor for kids ranging from elementary grades to college.  It also includes numerous projects I’ve been hired throughout the years to professionally edit.
